PHI PHI ISLAND, THAILAND: Tourists swim in the Andaman Sea off Maya Beach, made famous from the Hollywood movie “The Beach”, 30 January 2005, after arriving on a tour boat carrying people to Phi Phi Island from Phuket in southern Thailand. While this undeveloped cove was not affected by the 26 December 2004 tsunami tragedy, the one-time idyllic parts of Phi Phi Island remains devastated over a month after the tragedy which killed thousands of tourists.
