An ice sculpture, designed by sculpture artists, rests frozen at the Ice festival in Zwolle on December 15, 2011. It could be any standard hotel room in the quaint northeastern Dutch city of Zwolle, with a bed, a minibar, bathrobes and two pairs of slippers. Except for the room temperature, which hovers around eight degrees Celsius. Built for an ice sculpturers’ festival in Zwolle and managed by a local hotel, the structure has three rooms and stands within a refrigerated warehouse, where the temperature constantly hovers between six and eight degrees Celsius (42 and 46 degrees Fahrenheit), depending on the number of visitors.
